Macy’s Media Network Summit Design

In March 2025, I worked with Adrianne Watson and Michael Krans to create a separate sub identity, patterns, illustrations, way finding, and print materials for the Macy's Media Network summit at our headquarters in Manhattan.
Initially, we started with creating a pattern for emails and social media banners and headers, as up until this point we had not had a social presence. I took a selection of things that Michael had provided that we associated most with Macy's Media Network, including our company logos, the famous big brown bag, parade floats, and various NYC themed items, and turned them into a monoline pattern that we could easily adjust and repeat.
An interesting (and unexpected) challenge was creating wayfinding for an office I'd not yet actually been to - the majority of Macy's Media Network works remotely, as a separate branch of the company. Thankfully, we were able to get measurements and photos of the areas the signage would be placed.

Each attendee received a name tag with a randomized set of icons, taken from the background of our summit materials. I wrote a script to swap out each image as a variable at certain intervals when generating batches of name tag images in Photoshop for print, so everyone’s was slightly unique.
